Karen “KP” Ponzio is a writer of poetry and other musings on a daily basis as well as a creator of drawings and photographs that are reflective of her prose and experiences. Her background is primarily in the healing arts but also includes workshops in narrative medicine and creative writing. She is also currently an arts journalist for the New Haven Independent.

KP occasionally performs her poetry live and hosts music and variety shows at various venues throughout CT.

(KP thought it might be odd to talk about herself in the third person, but then it reminded her of one of her favorite Seinfeld episodes, and she had a good laugh about it.  KP laughs a lot.)
